It's a Grade I listed Tudor manor on Ordsall Lane in Salford, with that beautiful Great Hall, the timber and brick outside, and gardens that feel a world away from the Quays even though you're only minutes from them.
We're Jessica and Craig — Travis Photo — a husband and wife wedding photography team based in Worsley. We've been photographing weddings across Greater Manchester for eleven years, and Ordsall Hall is one of those venues that already feels like home turf. Close enough that your guests aren't stuck on the motorway all morning, and familiar enough that we know how the light moves through the Hall as the day goes on.

And if the North West weather does what it does? Soft grey light on the brick is lovely in photographs. If it rains, we work with it, then we get you and your people back inside somewhere warm.
The team who look after the day
Ordsall Hall is managed by Salford Community Leisure on behalf of Salford City Council. We've worked with them across Salford venues for years, and they're a genuinely good team — organised beforehand, calm on the day, and they look after more than one building in this city.
Stuart is someone Craig has worked with more times than almost anyone else in the industry. When the people running the venue know each other and know the rooms, everything feels easier for you and your family — and that shows in the photographs.

Our studio is in Walkden, Linnyshaw Mill on Manchester Road. Ordsall Hall is a short run into Salford from us. Local isn't a slogan here; it's how we work.

Both of us, all day
Craig and I always shoot as a pair. You don't get a second photographer as an optional extra — you get both of us from the start. Wedding mornings are two stories at once (getting ready in different rooms, family arriving, nerves, excitement), and later on someone needs to be with the speeches while the other is down the corridor with a flower girl who's had enough, or a grandparent who needs a quiet chair. We're used to that. It's part of why couples — and their mums — feel looked after with us.
Ceremonies here happen in the Great Hall — timber framing, paneling, that Victorian chandelier overhead. Outside you've got the black-and-white Tudor front, the gardens, and plenty of quiet corners where you can slip away for a chat and a portrait without it taking up your day.
