Wedding photography in Manchester and the North West

I'm Craig. Jessica and I are Travis Photo, a husband and wife team of wedding photographers based in Worsley. The studio is in Walkden. We photograph weddings across Greater Manchester and the North West: the ones close to home, the country houses, the ones where it rains and you get on with it anyway.

How we photograph a wedding

We both show up. One of us can be with the speeches while the other is down the corridor with a flower girl who has had enough. Two sets of twins, five children in total. Family-centred isn't a setting we switch on. It's just how a day is.

Kids under the table. Grandparents who need a chair. Same-sex weddings, big noisy ones, small ones, wellies on the lawn. If it's a family, it's a family.

We don't run a shot list that turns you into extras in your own day. Details before anyone is in them. Getting ready, both rooms. Ceremony from where we can see faces without standing in the aisle. Family groups, done quickly. Couple photographs that don't last forty minutes. Speeches. Evening. First dance. The people still going when they said they wouldn't.

This is the North West. It rains. If it pours we don't hide in a doorway muttering about the forecast. Wet stone, umbrellas, the two of you under a doorway, then back inside before the mascara gives up.

Places we keep going back to

A lot of our Manchester wedding photography sits close to home. Worsley Court House, Walkden Gardens, the canal. Then further out: Great John Street, Last Drop Village, Samlesbury Hall, Bolton School, Eaves Hall in the Ribble Valley, Merrydale Manor in Cheshire, Chester, the Lake District.

What it costs

The standard wedding fee is £1500. That is the whole thing, not a teaser. It is negotiable depending on distance and what you actually need. More detail is on the Investment page. If the date is free and you want us there, say so.
